Panera has been a go-to for easy catering for quite some time, but today's experience was less than stellar. We host a monthly luncheon for birthdays, anniversaries, and new hires. It's nothing fancy, just a time to get together with folks you may not typically socialize with. Boxed lunches are a great option, as there's no serving necessary, and everything is (usually) packaged nice and neat in individual boxes. Unfortunately, today's order fell flat. The sandwiches were sloppily thrown together, bread was cut in half, but the fillings were not (how does that happen???), and the Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwiches had no bacon. Cold sandwiches usually come with a pickle spear, too, but they didn't today. And, finally, no napkins. Ultimately, the food tasted good and was on time, but the presentation, missing ingredients, and lack of napkins will make me hesitate to order from Panera again.
