I read the previous reviews and took a chance on Zulia bakery for our client meeting. BIG mistake! Where to start: I didn't receive what I ordered! I ordered sticky buns with cream cheese icing and received two orders of Nutella-filled croissants. I'd NEVER pick a dark filling for a business meeting. The presentation was unacceptable. I received the order in pizza boxes wrapped in plastic with the business logo. I had to scramble to find platters and basically repackage everything. None of the delivery seemed fresh. I gave one star because the delivery person, who I guess works for the bakery, called me after delivery and apologized for the presentation. Neither our clients nor colleagues enjoyed the baked goods.

It was fun to try a few new items from Zulia. Normally I stop by at the State Farmer's Market, but I've never had the blueberry roll. The flavor was nice, but the dough was still raw in some spots. This was an early morning order, so I imagine that she was in a time crunch getting the item delivered. Next time, I'd order a few days in advance or pick it up myself.
