Sol Mexican Cocina had some solid highs but also a few easy-to-avoid misses. Overcooked meat is such a bummer, especially when you can tell the flavor is there and just needed a little more care. Restaurants should know better—especially when protein is the star of the plate. But hey, fresh tortillas and tostada shells? That’s a win. And sauces that hit? That can sometimes carry a whole meal.
