The food was excellent and the order arrived on time. I normally have a great experience ordering with Sandwich Express, but today I received disappointing feedback from my client about the delivery driver. When he arrived he refused to bring the order to their break room on the lower level, so staff members had to carry everything themselves. I find that to be completely unacceptable, and I now regret leaving a such a generous tip in advance for what turned out to be poor service. When I choose to cater with a restaurant for my client meetings, I am trusting that they will provide a high level of service and represent me well. It’s upsetting that today’s experience had to be spoiled by the delivery driver and his behavior. I am not sure I would cater here again and risk having another bad delivery.
