We had a very disappointing experience with this catering order for a large group. The food arrived completely cold, as though it had been prepared the night before. It was not appetizing or safe to serve, and we ultimately had to throw it out out of concern that people might get sick. This created a stressful situation for our team, as we had to arrange last-minute replacements to feed everyone. I’m extremely disappointed - especially since we had high expectations for this caterer.

Mel's is the best. Everything is so delicious, and the chef/owner, Daron, is the real deal! I work in supportive housing, and we order from Mel's every year for our Juneteenth bbq and sometimes we order from them for our December holiday party. All the meats (fried fish, fried chicken, oxtail, and bbq pork) are fabulous and full of flavor. The mac and cheese is a big crowd-pleaser here! Our residents always look forward to this food and ask me over and over where the restaurant is and how they can get more. Highly recommend Mel's!
