The cupcakes themselves were perhaps a bit lackluster. They were rather dry and prone to crumbling, but the frosting and decorations definitely made up for it. Just looking at them, everyone was very impressed. The various frostings were more akin to Mousse in texture and hit that perfect level before tipping into "too sweet" with the chocolate garnish there to add a burst of richness. Overall, a solid cupcake, if slightly difficult to eat with their crumbling foundation.
