I ordered catering from Maverick's Smokehouse and Taproom for a staff luncheon. The Jalapeño sausage and the brisket were the team's fav proteins. Sides could use some work. Packaging of catering was boxed lunch instead of tray style which was odd but would order here in the future.

Not gonna lie this left a little to be desired, but no shade because this is not a Mexican restaurant. It was decent not great there was enough not plenty but it arrived hot and everything I ordered showed up so all in all still a good fajita bar in a pinch with five Reward stars in my area.  I would order it again, but maybe not for an office that I’m trying to impress. :)

So, the service needs to be a bit more user friendly.  I placed the order online asking for 70 individually boxed meals.  When the food arrived, it was in big trays, which was not individually packaged.  We work in an office and individually packaged meals makes it easier to have people get the food and go.  I got the initial confirmation that the Caterer accepted my order, but I never received the second confirmation stating that they would make the order and have it to me at my scheduled time.  I called EzCater and they said that they were trying to get in touch with the caterer and get that second confirmation.  ***The food was exceptional and everyone loved the change in the same old, same old.  Just wish the process for re-confirmation and less anxiety for me making sure that my team had lunch would have been a bit better.  Hopefully they can make changes to give the customer that piece of mind that they will receive the lunches.  Overall food was great and it was on time.

Only issue was the charge for chaffing dishes that per person is ridiculous when you have a large group. It was 120 just for that and that is just ridiculous. Food was great. Good quality meat
