Even though our Denver office just celebrated its first birthday, we already reached some huge milestones: the Denver Post named us a Top Workplace. And we grew so fast that we had to relocate to an office half the size of a football field just to keep up with momentum. Then we got even more good news: we’re now a start-up “unicorn” valued at $1.25 billion.
At our ezCater office in Denver, we’re always working hard to support our customers and catering partners, but we make room for play, too. On any given day, you can find people playing ping-pong in the office or shooting Nerf darts at nearby workstations. One of our culture codes is “grow fast, eat cupcakes,” so every time we hit a milestone, we celebrate with trays of the frosted treats. So in true ezCater style, we saluted our awesome Denver employees with champagne and cupcakes. Check out these photos highlighting our celebration in Denver.

“A lot of us get together outside of work for happy hour or a Rockies game. We focus on bringing the right people into our teams and know that our company culture will come together smoothly after that,” says Caden Zarbock.
What Our People Love Most About Working at ezCater in Denver
“The Denver office is fun, chill, and an incredibly friendly environment full of hard workers. Everyone can really be themselves here. The company culture is conducive to everyone getting to know one another. What I love most about working at ezCater in Denver is watching the company develop from its humble beginnings and helping it grow.” Ryan Rollins, IT Support Engineer.
“It’s the people, of course … and the free snacks, but mostly the people. Working from home just isn’t the same. I prefer to come to work where I can talk to my friends. I’ve made some lifetime friends here. What I think makes Denver so cool is that it’s filled with so many transplants from all over and ezCater’s Denver office is no different. You get a really cool mix of people with different personalities and life experiences. Everyone in the office is pretty down-to-earth and fun.” Mary Gonzalez, Ninja Coach.
“What I love about working at ezCater in Denver is that from Day 1 we encourage everyone to have a voice and to question everything. If there’s a better way of doing something, we want to explore that. We have people here who will question a system or process and make suggestions to move this company forward. There’s a great sense of camaraderie and transparency, which encourages people to work together but also voice their opinions or concerns. I think ezCater starts with great people, and our people create the values and culture that we practice living each day.” Caden Zarbock, Customer Service Manager.
