ezCater Hires New CFO, CMO, and VP of National Sales  on the Heels of $28M in Venture Funding

Executives from Actifio, Amazon, and Athenahealth Join Business Catering Marketplace to Increase Awareness, Drive Sales, and Manage Growth

 

BOSTON – October 28, 2015 –
ezCater, the only nationwide marketplace for business catering, today announced that it has expanded its executive team by hiring a Chief Financial Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Vice President of National Sales. These strategic hires follow a $28 million round of venture capital funding that the company closed in October, and further strengthen ezCater’s leadership team and its leading position in the growing market for business catering.

The new additions to ezCater’s executive team include:

  • Bob Cruickshank, CFO – Bob is a proven finance leader with more than 20 years’ experience at public and private companies, high-growth start-ups, and mature-stage organizations. Prior to ezCater, Bob served as CFO at Amazon Robotics (formerly Kiva Systems). Most recently before that, Bob was VP of Finance at Aspen Technology. At ezCater, he will help develop the company’s financial strategy and build the finance function to support rapid growth.
  • David Meiselman, CMO – David brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing leadership to his role at ezCater. He has a history of building award-winning marketing teams and most recently served as vice president of digital marketing and demand generation at Actifio. At ezCater, David will strengthen brand awareness for the company, drive demand generation and customer acquisition, and help grow the company’s roster of 43,000 caterers and restaurants.
  • Dave Goodwin, VP of National Sales – Utilizing his 20 years of sales experience, Dave will expand ezCater’s corporate sales function, targeting businesses of all sizes, in all industries that require catering for workplace meetings and events. Dave previously held sales leadership roles at companies including Athenahealth and Digitas, and brings with him career-long experience building and optimizing high performing sales teams.
