Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is a chain of self-serve frozen yogurt franchises that got its start in 2008 in Oklahoma City.
Today, they’ve grown to more than 130 locations in the United States. They’ve also launched a sister brand, Humble Donut Co., currently with 10 locations.
Orange Leaf sees great opportunity to increase their bottom line through catering, but as a relatively small brand, they don’t have the budget for television advertisements or a high volume of digital ads. Still, they needed to meet customer demand for catering and get the word out about their off-premises services in a cost-effective manner. Orange Leaf partnered with ezCater to solve for this need and more.
Kendall Ware, Orange Leaf’s president and COO said, “Partnering with ezCater has given us the exposure that we need to expand our business model and to get our brand name in the eyes of all the consumers.”
Orange Leaf also added the ezOrdering link to their brand’s websites to take catering orders. According to Ware, this expanded the brand’s online catering presence to capture even more business. “Now guests are more aware of this catering opportunity, ” he said. “In general, it is generating more traffic to our website, which in turn is generating more traffic to our stores,”
Orange Leaf’s overall off-premises efforts, including its partnership with ezCater, led to a 68% increase in off-premises sales in 2019.
