Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is a fast-casual Mexican chain based in Fort Worth Texas. They have over 150 locations, and they continue to grow. But growing the catering side of the business can be hard. There are a lot of moving parts, and it can be tricky to track how different franchises are doing on their own. Fuzzy’s partnered with ezCater to streamline the process, reach new customers, and access important analytics for all their locations that jumped on board.

Fuzzy’s found it effortless to expand ezCater through its system, according to vice president of operations Kevin Rychel. Catering orders are easy to execute, and Fuzzy’s didn’t have to recruit extra labor to fulfill them. “It’s absolutely amazing what ezCater has done,” Rychel said. 

The ezCater marketplace also gave the brand more exposure and allowed them to reach new customers. Now franchisees have plenty of catering orders coming through. “(…) all of a sudden we have touched the lives of different Fuzzy’s users we never had the possibility to get in front of,” Rychel said. With their average catering order of about $250, the brand sees the incremental sales reaching the top lines.
