FOCUS Brands partnered with ezCater to tap into the benefits of a large catering marketplace, one of which was access to data. “Marketplaces are extremely powerful”, said Andrew Lydon, Senior Director, Digital Acceleration at FOCUS Brands. “Whether that’s Amazon, Netflix, Facebook — it’s where customers naturally draw to. And so when we’re working with ezCater, there are huge advantages that we gain from working within the marketplaces.”
Data-driven decisions can help restaurants improve operational efficiency and bolster sales. Collecting and interpreting data provides insights into their customers’ preferences and ordering habits, allowing brands to make informed business decisions and optimize their marketing tactics. FOCUS Brands has harnessed ezCater’s data to better understand its business needs.
“As we’re starting to gain more and more data from the likes of ezCater, we’re able to find these opportunities that we wouldn’t be able to see otherwise,” Lydon said.
ezCater, the nation’s largest catering marketplace, provides restaurants with tools to help them grow, manage, and deliver catering orders, as well as understand what their catering customers want. ezCater shares customer information, order history, and order preferences with its restaurant partners, who can use this data to their advantage.
“The uniqueness about ezCater is there’s not another national catering marketplace that exists, and so they are our go-to,” Lydon said. “We’re able to drive top-line growth through ezCater.”
